 Ahhh after much waiting, the comic is finally under way =) In other words, all of the side buttons now work! (Comics will be found under "series") AWESOME, eh? The sketch of the week is updated now too. (Ah hah, some sketch of the week. ) A different kind of update is, I've finally started animating, so I'll be posting those here sometime soon. January 25th, 2007 Eh heh, so I still havn't actually worked on the comic strip other than drawing them. But I AM finally starting the sketch of the week~ Oh yeah, this time the long time for an update is partially because I've been trying to set up an oekaki board.... but it isn't working out so well. There's some process that isn't responding correctly. I might have to ask someone else about it that has one already set up. As far as I know, I've got everything set up right, but I obviously don't if it's not working. News archives are going to be started soon as well o_o;; This page is starting to look too full of writing. (Despite my neglecting of the site). The gallery is going to be updated again in a couple days. As many of you guys know, I'm getting ready to head off to college in the fall. Some of you are probably curious what pictures I -will- put in my portfolio. Well, when it's all set up, I'll be putting all the images in my gallery. So it'll be loads of pictures in one update~ Fun for you! December 5th, 2006 Talk about exciting frequent updates. Oooohhh the sarcasm. But really, there is an update this time, even if it's not about this actual website itself. Basically, I started drawing one of those fun little comic strip thingys today, and I plan on drawing more and maybe coloring a couple and tossing them up here. They will ONLY be up here, though, because I don't feel like overloading all your inboxes, those of you who watch me on DA, with mindless comic strips. Finals have already started at school giving me... not less, but MORE time to work on things like this. Err, yeah, I'm one of those naughty people who don't study. Whoopsies. November 20th, 2006 This isn't much of an update, but it is an announcement of sorts. Basically, I plan to start writing the webcomic that'll be on this site over the break. Just the writing though, I won't actually start drawing it until it's finished because I've had problems in the past where I'd draw as I came up with story and I'd end up forgetting to touch back on details from earlier on in the story. Hopefully that won't happen again o_o;;; Oh, and for now I'm going to end it with a cliff hanger so if I feel like it's going well enough to make a sequel I'll go ahead and start writing the next part. If it's not doing as well as I hope... then there will just have to be a cliff hanger =o November 11th, 2006 Well, I was starting to think that I had waited forever before updating again, but as it turns out, I havn't =) ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! The Guestbook and the Gallery are NOW UP! Oh, and you can look at the Ask Geneson page, now, but there's nothing there yet other than a preview of what I plan to do with it. Sorta. Not much of a preview, though o_o;; I really need to create an e-mail for that. Wait, the character button is now working too. That makes all of the buttons except for the Series button! =O *cheers* :| I need to make an archive page soon. I'm going to be starting the Weekly Sketch soon, probably after I finish the prize pictures for the winners of my avatar contest I held on DA. Last thing is I added a counter. It's a counter made by another site for now, but eventually I'm going to make my own =o October 26th, 2006 Sorry I havn't been updating that much :/ So much school and life getting in the way of being able to work on this. Anyway, I havn't forgotten about it! I'm actually playing around with a few ideas at the moment, such as a weekly sketch and also a section called "Ask Geneson". Common, most of the COOL websites have "ask soinso" sections, so why not this one too? Although, what I have in mind for it, it would probably only be updated about once a month, but that's okay, because hopefully it'll be worth it ;) I also decided.. not to do what I was going to do for characters :| I'll only make pages for major ones and ones that appear on this website. That way I can let it steadily grow at a nice easy pace and it won't be so hectic on me. I'm also playing around with ideas on how to arrange my gallery.... here's a good question. Should I make a totally seperate section for my fanart? Most sites do this, and I wasn't going to at first, but now I'm thinking I should. Oh yeah, any other ideas on what I could possibly do to make this site better, please let me know. Wow, this sure was a long update O_O September 10th, 2006 Hmmm... added more to the About page now. I've started work on the characters page, but I'm not going to let anyone see that for the moment :B I want to at least have three profiles from each of my four series done before I have that public for all to see. Whoops, I forgot I was going to work on the "page not found" page =o I'll have to do that next time. September 2nd, 2006 Welp, I got the "about" page started. Once it's done I'll get the "page not found"... page done. I've also got the main page looking a bit nicer as well. (Earlier there were huge nasty gaps inbetween parts of the layout, and it looked awful) August 28th, 2006 Wooo! This is the first official update for this website! As you can see, there isn't anything here. None of the side buttons work yet, since none of those pages have been made yet, but I've pretty much got the... basic layout done. On the side there where it says "Oh" is where the affiliates and other links will go once I've got this place a little more... done. I'm going to try and update this at least a couple times a week, so keep looking back here. If you need to contact me about anything, I'll be getting my "About" page done first, and all that will be there. That's all for now! (this is nowhere close to being done) |
